Good morning. Today I have a stunning home tour to share with you. This Arizona home is designed by Caitlin Wilson. I love the classic lines mixed with the modern twist of color and pattern. This home uses wallpaper so beautifully. The designer states that all the color and pattern kind of becomes a neutral unto itself, and I completely agree. Take a look!
This home is visually exciting. I love all the spaces for different reasons, but if I had to choose my favorite it would have to be the office/library. The beautiful wallpaper mixed with the blue bookcases are perfect. The mirrored desk and vintage lucite chairs are the perfect addition for a workspace. What is your favorite space?
Good morning! Tropical prints are popping up everywhere. I love the summery feel. Tropical spaces make me feel like I am on vacation and who wouldn’t what that? There are ways you can add the tropical feel without feeling like you are in a bad themed space. Here are some of my favorites.
Leaf Print | Pink Pineapples | Rattan Cocktail Glasses | Pineapple Jar | Nutmeg Arm Chair | Hennie Chair | Bar Cart
What do you think of tropical spaces?
I have always said I love a bold patterned bathroom. I think a small bathroom or powder room is the perfect spot for bold wallpaper. Just because it is a small space doesn’t mean you can neglect it design wise. I love a small space with a big pop of pattern or color. Large spaces can easily become way too busy with 4 walls of wallpaper, but in a smaller space it really works. Check out some of my very favorite bold bathrooms.
What do you think of these wallpapered bathrooms? I really like them all, but my absolute favorite is the 4th image. The oversized floral print paired with brass fixtures is gorgeous! These spaces just wouldn’t be the same without the bold walls. Would you ever wallpaper your bathroom?
Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! Is the time change messing with you? I know I’m missing that extra hour. Anyways, I have a beautiful home tour to share with you today. I was led to it via Pinterest (shocking I know!) and knew you would love to see this space. This home is designed by Bailey of Peppermint Bliss. I love the use of color and whimsical prints.
I’m in love with this kitchen! The brass fixtures and island are so perfect in this white space. I also love the fun rug.
What do you think? I really love all the different prints and patterns used throughout the home. Which is your favorite space?
Good morning! Today I am introducing you to San Francisco based interior designer and prop stylist Lauren Nelson. Lauren layers old and new, bold and subtle, and multiple textures to keep spaces feeling fresh and timeless. I love Lauren’s spaces because she creates rooms that are welcoming and balanced. Take a look!
These spaces are so fresh and sophisticated. Lauren’s attention to detail is to be admired. What do you think? Which is your favorite space? To see more of Lauren Nelson’s beautiful interiors make sure to check out her website.
Good morning! Today is going to be all about high impact. Bold pattern or color choices not only make big statements and infuse personality to a space, but can also make a smaller space seem more intentional vs. tucked away. I love the idea of one space using a bold patterned wallpaper or paint color. Take a look at what I mean.
What do you think of high impact walls? Would you ever do something like this in your home?
Good morning! Better Homes and Gardens has pulled together some of their favorite design trends. I have pulled my favorites from that list (and added some of my own). I hope these trends don’t fade out any time soon.
Black Glossy Front Door: This is timeless. There is something so classic about a shiny black front door don’t you think?
Flokati: This shaggy wool material is perfect for accent pieces such as these stools. Also perfect for pillows and rugs!
Painted Furniture: It is so easy to transform an old piece of furniture with paint. I love adding a pop of color to a space.
Statement Lighting: Good lighting is essential to every space. You can find beautiful statement fixtures in every price range. I am loving these brass pieces.
Wallpaper: Gone are the days of Grandma’s wallpaper. Wallpaper is perfect for an accent wall or small space. No need to do all 4 walls. There are so many great modern colors and patterns.
Warm Grays: Warm grays are the perfect neutral alternative to beige or white.
Wide Stripes: This substantial pattern can easily be mixed with smaller scale patterns for a modern look.
