I am back! Finally! My husband and I went on vacation and I have been caught up with busy life stuff. So I am finally back. Today I am sharing some pictures of our road trip along the coast. I have never driven along Highway 1 up the coast before and it is SO beautiful. We drove up from LA to Santa Barbara. Then we headed to Hearst Castle (which was gorgeous!) Finally we made our way up to Monterrey.
Our hotel, Hotel Milo, was right along the beach and super cute!
I loved visiting this historic home. It is truly beautiful.
Highway 1 and Monterrey
The views along Highway 1 are stunning!
We felt no trip to Monterrey was complete without visiting the Jellyfish at the aquarium.
The BEST clam chowder!
We had a great trip and it was so hard to return to the real world!
My husband and I are heading on a road trip over the weekend and the first part of next week. We are so excited to get away. We plan to start in southern California and go through Santa Barbara up to Monterrey then back here to San Jose. When packing for a road trip there are certain things that are very important. Sunscreen, snacks, the perfect tote, etc. Here is my full list of road trip essentials.
Tote | Charger | Hat | Sunglasses | Popcorn | Water Bottle | Beach Towel | Sandals | Sunscreen | Camera | Cooler
Good morning! As I mentioned yesterday I am going to share some pictures of our trip to Italy with you. We were lucky enough to visit Naples, Rome, and Florence. All beautiful cities. Visiting Pompeii was a really great experience. My husband and I had never been so exploring was a lot of fun. Rome is a city rich in history and there is so much to do and see. The last time I was in Rome was 10 years ago so being able to experience everything at this point in my life was a brand new experience. Florence is such a beautiful city, one of my favorites. All the art, history, and architecture is truly wonderful to take in. Have any of you ever been to these locations? Here are some of the highlights.
When in Naples we had to try some pizza since this is where it was born!
The beautiful view of Florence
Italy is such a beautiful country. I can’t wait to go back! Have a great day!!
Good morning everyone! How have you all been? I am finally getting back into the swing of things. We got back from our week and a half long trip last week, but trying to catch up and get back into non-vacation life has been tough. Our trip through Spain, Italy, and France was wonderful (and hot!) I absolutely fell in love with the architecture of Barcelona. I had never been and let me tell you it is now one of my favorite cities. I remember studying Gaudi’s in school so it was great to see these buildings in person. Over the next few days I am going to be sharing some of my favorite pictures from our trip I hope you enjoy!

Spain is a beautiful country. I can’t wait to go back and visit some more cities. Tomorrow I will share some pictures from Italy with you.
Have a great day!
I have to admit I am totally checked out today. My husband and I leave bright and early tomorrow morning to head to Barcelona. I am SO excited. We have never been so it will be a new experience for the two of us. We stay in Barcelona for 3 days then hop onto a Mediterranean cruise. We will make stops in Rome, Florence, Marseille, France, and Majorca, Spain. I will be checking in via Twitter as much as possible and posting pictures so make sure to follow me! If any of you have any recommendations for sites or restaurants I’d love to hear from you! Here are some of the views I am looking forward to seeing.
I will see you all back here when I return!
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was awesome! My husband and I went for a quick getaway to San Francisco. We only live about an hour away from the city, but don’t often take the time to go. My husband booked us a room at the historic Sir Francis Drake Hotel in the heart of Union Square. It is beautiful! We went to see the ballet Saturday night in a beautiful theater after a delicious dinner. Sunday we walked all over the city through Chinatown down to Fisherman’s Wharf. It was fun to explore. We had such a wonderful time enjoying great food and sites. I documented some of it to share with you. (Forgive me for some of the poor quality in the pictures I only had my phone.)

Fisherman’s Wharf. This is probably my favorite area in the city. Great food and beautiful views.
Have any of you ever been to San Francisco? If not this city really is amazing. There is so much to do it is impossible to see it all in a few days. If so, what is your favorite part of SF?
Hope you all have a great rest of your day!!
