Happy Friday! Fashion and design often inspire eachother. I have pulled together some examples of spaces and outfits that have a lot in common.
Have a great weekend!
What says summer more than cabana stripes? I have always been a fan of incorporating stripes into interiors and exteriors. I love wide cabana stripes because they can transition from casual to elegant. Black and white stripes create a more sophisticated feel, while other colored stripes can be more casual and whimsical.
What do you think of cabana stripes? If you don’t want to commit to paint or wallpaper bring in striped accents such as area rugs or throw pillows. Cabana stripes are a classic pattern and will never go out of style.
I have been so inspired lately by summer tablescapes. I love fresh flowers, fun prints, and a little more relaxed but still elegant feel. Here are some of my favorites from my Pinterest page.
I love how bright and fresh these tables are. Whether a small backyard get together or a large soiree these colors and patterns are perfect for the season.
Happy Friday! I am a sucker for black and white stripes in fashion or interior design. Is there any pattern more classic and timeless than stripes? I love how versatile they are and how easily they can be transformed from day to night looks. I have been noticing a lot of great updated striped looks and thought I would share them with you. How do you feel about stripes?
Here are some great striped options in different colors you can add to your wardrobe.
I have some great striped pieces in my closet, but I am loving the striped accessories. How about you?
Have a fabulous weekend!!
I was recently looking through the current issue of Lonny magazine and ran across this beautiful space with show stopping roman shades.
Aren’t they fabulous?? I began to then look for other spaces that used roman shades as not only a window covering, but as a statement piece. I love thinking of roman shades as an opportunity to incorporate pattern or art into the space. Don’t you?
What do you think? I love the eye catching patterns and colors these roman blinds use. Such a great way to make a bold statement.
I am a HUGE Kate Spade fan so when I stumbled across pictures of her Southampton home I knew I had to share it! Kate and her husband Andy renovated their home with designer Steven Sclaroff. This home was a former art studio and school founded in 1892. This 9,000 square foot residence keeps many of the original details. Take a look!
I love the mix of pattern in with all the antique rugs. This home is full of character and life. All the artwork displayed throughout the home only seems fitting since this was an art school. What do you think of Kate and Andy Spade’s home?
Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! Today I am introducing you to Los Angeles based designers Ron Woodson and Jamie Rummerfield. Woodson and Rummerfield’s House of Design is an award winning interior design firm that specializes in creating luxurious interiors. Check out these beautiful spaces.
I love their bold and chic designs. Their use of unexpected elements and colors throughout their interiors is to be admired. What do you think? There are MANY more beautiful photos in their portfolio.
