Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I have a beautiful home to share with you. It belongs to actress Michelle Williams. She recently listed this Brooklyn home, but we can get a peek inside. It is full of old world charm and beautiful details. Take a look!
I love the wide plank floors that run throughout the house. They add a ton of character. The living room and the library are my favorite spaces. They are warm and seem to be a perfect place to relax. What do you think?
Good morning! Today I am introducing you to Canadian designer Theresa Casey. Theresa is one of Canada’s most distinguished and awarded designers. I love that she doesn’t have a particular style to her designs. She balances shape, form, proportions, textures and light to create a gathered and evolved space. All of her spaces are layered and have a detailed execution. Take a look!
Isn’t her work great? I love her detailed spaces. My favorites are the moodier rooms especially the library with the painted bookcases and red chairs. Which is your favorite space?

This beautiful designer visions showhouse is designed by Alessandra Branca. This converted 1920s office tower is the ultimate home for a family of four. I love the bold design choices used throughout the space. Take a look!
I love the dramatic use of color throughout the home. The eclectic mix of furnishings and pattern really make this space interesting. There are so many things that catch my eye, but my favorite space is definitely the library in the first image. I love all of the different patterns mixing together perfectly to create a warm space. Which is your favorite?
Good morning! I love a good home library and I also love a chic formal dining room. So why not combine them? I think there is a certain homey feel that comes with being surrounded by books and decorative bookshelves.
What do you think? Would you consider combining a library and dining room?
Today I am going to take you on a tour of designer Victoria Hagan’s Connecticut home. She remodeled this Georgian style 1980s home over the course of 9 months and turned it into her dream home. The stylish yet informal environment is the perfect family space. I think you will all love the beautiful details and the inviting spaces. Take a look!
Gorgeous home right? I love the comfortable warm feeling this home evokes. You can tell this is designed for a family, but Victoria definitely didn’t compromise style. What do you think?
Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I am taking you on a tour of television producer Ryan Murphy. He opened up his 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival home in the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter. Ryan is best known as the producer of the hit TV shows Glee, American Horror Story, Nip/Tuck, and The New Normal. Murphy worked with interior designer Cliff Fong to create eclectic interiors mixing ranch-inspired, period-correct furniture, contemporary art and photography and American Horror Story-worthy objects. Murphy has become a serious collector of 1920s and 1930s California-made Monterey Spanish furniture. I love the dark style of this home. It has a wonderful vintage feel to it. Take a look!
The interior courtyard features a fountain and views of the beautiful architecture.
In the family room, Murphy displays his Golden Globes, his vintage Bauer pottery, and vintage illuminated metal letters.
Murphy’s bulletin board in the kitchen.
An old rectory table serves as the dining table in the kitchen.
The bedroom is full of black leather and tufting. Including the fabulous mid-century wing chairs beside the bed.
Danish pendant light, Monterey dining set, and a German sculpture all come together in a parlor area of the home.
The green sofa in the entry-library is a rare Monterey of California daybed with its original paint.
What do you think of this style of home?
When I came across this gorgeous Park Avenue apartment designed by Amanda Nisbit I just had to share it with you! Amanda is fearless when it comes to using color. She prides herself on using the power of colors and textures to set a room’s overall mood and feel. Take a look!
Amanda’s knowledge and use of bold saturated colors is to be admired. Which is your favorite space? I love the dark library in the top photo, but also really love blue tufted benches in the living area. This apartment is glamorous and inviting.
