Happy Friday everyone! As I’m sure you are well aware Cinco de Mayo is this weekend. I love Cinco de Mayo it gives me an excuse to eat Mexican food and have an extra margarita (although I really don’t need an excuse). Finding the right thing to wear to your fiesta can be challenging. It’s important to make sure you don’t show up looking like a pinata am I right? Anyways I found some great items you can include in your wardrobe that are perfect for your Cinco de Mayo celebration and can be worn throughout the summer. Take a look!
Of course no Cinco de Mayo celebration is complete without the perfect margarita. I love the classic lime and strawberry flavors, but I recently found this grapefruit margarita recipe and it is so refreshing!
Pink Grapefruit Margaritas
From: Barefoot Contessa’s How Easy Is That
1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (about 4 limes)
1 cup triple sec orange liqueur
3 cups ice
1 cup silver tequila
1 lime cut in wedges, optional Kosher salt.
If you prefer to rim the glasses take a lime wedge and rim, then dip in salt, if you do not like a salted rim sprinkle a touch of salt in each glass, the salt really brings out the flavor.
Combine the grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec and ice in a blender. Blend until slushy.
I also ran across this SUPER cute pinata idea on Pinterest I just HAD to share with you! I love it!

Enjoy! Have a fabulous weekend!
