Home Tour: CA Home and Design’s Small Space Big Style Showhouse

24 Oct

When I came across this showhouse I knew I had to share it with you! At CH+D they know that the greatest luxury isn’t always square footage, it’s inspired design. For their premier showhouse, eight of LA’s top designers transformed a 1,400-square-foot, white-walled penthouse in Hollywood into an explosion of color, style and space-saving ideas. There are so many great ideas and beautiful designs that I know you will love! Take a look!

This living and dining room designed by Christopher Kennedy blends styles seamlessly. The bold colors repeated throughout the space creates great harmony between the spaces.

This resource library and lounge is designed by Danielle Cornwell. This is a quiet contemporary space for people to gather.

The bathroom on the left is designed by Brian Patrick Flynn. The one on the right by Asadeh Shladovsky. Brian utilized a shower partition made from an industrial casement window to add a masculine touch in his bathroom. Asadeh also used masculine colors in her Hollywood themed bathroom. The vintage Dennis Hopper photos arranged in a grid almost act as wallpaper. I love the details in both of these spaces.

WOW. This powder room designed by Christian May is amazing. The wallpaper uses various stripe angles and sizes. It is a showstopper!

The mezzanine area is designed by Molly Luetkemeyer. She designed a creative studio to reflect the passions of the fictitious resident couple—a fashion design studio for her and a music jam area for him.

The guest bedroom is designed by Brian Patrick Flynn. The dramatic headboard is fabulous! I love the wall treatment of faux ostrich with nailheads and the top covered in gingham wallpaper.

This bedroom is designed by Erinn Valencich. This is a beautiful and dramatic bedroom.

The kitchen is designed by Asadeh Shladovsky. The floor to ceiling cabinets along one wall really enhances the tall ceiling height. This kitchen has beautiful clean lines.

The outdoor living space is designed by Annette Gutierrez and Mary Gray. The vibrant color, chandelier, and furniture choices make this a great extension of the house.
