Color Obsession:Yellow

27 Sep

A lot of people either love or hate the color yellow. I happen to love it. I think adding in a splash of yellow really brightens up a space. There are many shades of yellow you can use. If you are a little weary of the brighter shades opt for a softer mellower tone. It will still have a great impact and add a splash of color without feeling too bright.

This delicate floral yellow wallpaper really adds a great pop of color. Balancing this brighter shade of yellow with the white wainscoting really works.

This bedroom uses a softer yellow shade that pairs nicely with the blue accents.

I love the pop of yellow in this foyer. It doesn’t overwhelm the space, but still has a big impact. That floor is pretty fabulous as well.

I love this sophisticated living space. The soft shades of yellow add just the right amount of color in this space. The tufted couch is gorgeous.

If yellow isn’t quite your favorite color this is a good space for you. I love the muted sunny tone against all the white.

Now this is how you use bright yellow! I love the fresh bright feel in this bedroom. The floral artwork is gorgeous.

What do you think of the color yellow? Love it or hate it?

On another note… I finally joined Twitter last night! I am still trying to get the hang of it and working on the appearance. If any of you have any suggestions or tips that would be appreciated! You can follow me on Twitter by clicking the link on the side of my page. Thank you in advance for the tips! Have a great day!
