Kitchen of the Year

23 Jul

House Beautiful invited designer Mick De Giulio to design their 1,000 square foot Kitchen of the Year in Rockefeller Center this year. The kitchen was open to the public July 16-20. This kitchen is simple and elegant. A definite dream kitchen. The finishes are gorgeous and modern. This kitchen offers a lot of inspiration that can be implemented into your kitchen. Take a look!

A little pop of navy is added by choosing this wonderful colored sink.

De Giulio mixed metals, wood, and glass. Love this look!

This Metal Boy creates a sculpture out of the pots and pans. This is functional and fashionable.

This 100 square foot butlers pantry is gorgeous. The glass front cabinets are lined on the interior with mirrors to help make the space feel more open. The venetian plaster ceiling is so unique.

This dining area has an earthy elegance with the mixed dining chairs, light wood table, and beautiful chandelier.

De Guilio added this comfortable space because kitchens are the area families spend the most time. This is a great addition.

Hope you enjoyed the tour! To see a few more pictures and find out more visit House Beautiful. What is your favorite part of the kitchen?
