Bold Black

28 Feb

So many people are afraid of using black in their interiors. There are so many wonderful ways to incorporate black into your home. Whether you use black in the details or as the main color it will add sophistication to your space. Pairing the dark color with bright or light colors creates a great contrast and a bold statement. Black can make any space dramatic and timeless.

Love this space! Although the walls are black this room feels so bright! Pairing the black walls with the bright floral artwork, purple plates, and the light furniture creates such a perfect balance. The ceiling is amazing! Absolutely love all the details.

This dining room is so bold! I love that the designer used black wallpaper, flooring and furniture. The bright windows and bright red carpet keep this space from feeling closed in. The elegant chandelier just pushes this dining room over the top.

Still feeling scared of black? This dining room is so pretty! The black crown molding is such an amazing accent to the grass cloth walls. Having black crown molding creates a lot of sophistication and drama. This is a great way to incorporate black and create a big impact without painting the walls.

Would you ever use black in your home? I hope these images inspire you to do so! Tomorrow I will have my weekend project ready to show you. Hope you have a great day!
