Good morning! Flooring is such a major part of every space. There are countless options out there. Today I am showing you some fun options and classic options. Take a look.
Brick is a great choice for mudrooms and entryways, but brick in the kitchen or other rooms in the house can be unexpected. Brick is also great at hiding dirt in high traffic areas.
I love the look of these patterned tile floors. Picking a classic color combination in a fun pattern adds a pop of personality instantly.
I think herringbone flooring is my favorite. It is so classic and homey.
What is you favorite style of flooring?
Happy Monday! Today I have a fun beachy glam home tour for you. Even better it’s all done on a budget! This home belongs to blogger Laura Collins. To keep costs down, she filled the home with inexpensive artwork and revamped retro furniture from a variety of sources, including Craigslist and secondhand shops. The bright colors, metallic pieces, and rattan furniture look like they would have cost a fortune! I love the mix of old and new, it is something I use in my own space, it makes your home feel more authentic.
Isn’t this space fun? I really love the styling. This home definitely looks like it cost a lot more than it did. I really love the mix of pieces in the living room. The different textures and layers really pull the whole space together. Which is your favorite space?
Good morning! I recently ran across an image of a beautiful barn designed by Steven Gambrel and I haven’t been able to forget it. This former dairy barn in Virginia has been converted to a beautiful entertaining space. The entire space is elegant and comfortable with lots of natural materials. The best part is the bright pink and blue doors and balustrades. The pop of color is simply amazing. I would never have thought to use this bright color combo in this barn interior. Take a look!
What do you think? I am totally in love with the vibrant doors. I think it adds a fun fresh feel to this barn. Would you ever dare paint your doors bright colors?
What says summer more than cabana stripes? I have always been a fan of incorporating stripes into interiors and exteriors. I love wide cabana stripes because they can transition from casual to elegant. Black and white stripes create a more sophisticated feel, while other colored stripes can be more casual and whimsical.
What do you think of cabana stripes? If you don’t want to commit to paint or wallpaper bring in striped accents such as area rugs or throw pillows. Cabana stripes are a classic pattern and will never go out of style.

The brick exterior with the black doors is such a beautiful combination!
What do you think? I really love the overall color scheme in this home. The muted textiles and paint colors are a great backdrop for the punches of color in the artwork. Which is your favorite space?
